I have used a very traditional technique to create Sphere. The technique is known as coiling.  You create coils of clay like sausages and then create layers to make the pot grow.  I call it slow pottery as it takes a very long time and it is important that the joins are well sealed or gaps will appear.  Sphere looks magnificant on her own and would grace an alcove or table.
