Once the body of the jug is made it is time to put the handle and decoration onto the work. I have to allow the jug to dry a little before doing this as the the clay would be to soft and distort. I also add my makes mark. This allows owners to identify my work from other potters and validates the piece as being made my me. Do you have any of my pieces at home?
