Whole day pottery class - ONE STUDENT

Service Description

Have you ever fancied learning the age old craft of ceramics? Have you been inspired by watching others? Join me in my garden studio to learn the hand-made craft of pottery. You can design and make your own creations to use and or to give as gifts. Set in my garden studio this is a full day of tuition for ONE student. Who will this class suit? Everyone! From beginners who have never thrown a pot before to these those who wish to enhance their techniques my studio is the ideal way to try this craft. During your workshop session you will find out how pots are made and some of the processes involved. Have a go on the potters wheel and or try some hand building techniques. Once made, your creations can be fired in the kiln and you will be contacted when they are ready for collection. There is an additional cost per item for firing, payable on collection, based on size of item created. Please note you will need to trim your nails, or you may gouge your pots!, please also remove any valuable jewellery and wear old clothes. Aprons are provided. Tea and coffee provided. Please let me know if you have any dietary requirements.
