Penny's Aquilegia coaster are very seasonal. The flower heads and stems are harvested once the flowers have finished. Each coaster is rolled out in stoneware clay and the plant is then impressed into the clay. Slip decoration is then applied and then bisque fired. Once cool they are then coated in glaze and re-fired. Each one has its own unique design. All coasters are available without cork backing for wall mounting. Coasters are individually crafted and decorated creating unique results each time, no two coasters are ever exactly the same! Backed in cork to protect surfaces. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
